The name of the town is Stans,
but to distinguish it from other towns of the same name,
bei Schwaz (near Schwaz) is added.

Views from each side of an old arcaded building that has been the
hostelry for visiting royalty, poets and musicians for over 500 years.
Just a few examples: Emperor Maximilian (1494), Albrecht, Bavarian
poet (1598), Marquesa Caponi, Envoy from Florence (1659), Emperor
Josef II (1771), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1773), King Gustav of
Sweden (1785), Wolfgang von Goethe (1786), King Ludwig II of
Bavaria (1818), Nicolo Paginini (1828), Heinrich Heine, poet (1832),
Maria von Trapp (1958), John Glenn, Astronaut (1969), Jean Paul
Sartre (1972), Queen Juliane of Holland (1978)!
