Hovercraft * The Hovercraft from Dover, England to Calais, France. I met these two American travelers as we waited to board the train to Dover and we became friends on the channel crossing and even later in Paris. (Perry Lewin and Bob Roberson)
  *    26 years later in October 2011 I received an email from Perry Lewin! His children had been searching the web for their father's name and found this website! We renewed our acquaintance and he still stays in touch with Bob!

Swiss hotel This is the Hotel Bären where I stayed in the Bernese Oberlands. Eiger The Eiger looms behind me in the mist of the Swiss Alps. My paternal grandfather emigrated from Switzerland, so it has always held a special meaning for me.
