June 1998 - Along the Rivers of the Czars

I lived on the cruise ship for 16 days -- 3 days in St. Petersburg, 10 days on the rivers, lakes and canals, and 3 days in Moscow, a total journey of some 820 miles.

Kizhi island on Lake Onega, with its wooden churches and farm houses built of wood without using nails. Also note the fields of giant dandelions. Kizhi Island
