This is an experiment and I hope to substantially improve it in the
near future. If you would like to see my beginning steps at creating
3D virtual space, please be patient with the slow loading and the clunky
operation. In case your computer doesn't have a recent version of the Java
Runtime Environment (Java Virtual Machine), you will be prompted to download
and install it, which will take a few minutes.
Also be aware that, depending on what browser you are using and what security
settings you specified, you may see a warning that the "digital signature" of
the software can not be validated. It is safe for you to authorize it to run,
however, I assure you.
If you proceed on to the virtual graphics, note that the arrow keys, which
control movement through the house, are activated only after you have touched
the mouse inside the graphics space. And expect some wild movements of the
virtual space; use VERY small movements of the mouse! You can
tame the movements by holding down the Shift key while moving the mouse.
In general, move the mouse in the direction you want to move, not the direction
you want to rotate the scene.
I have made only a representative number of special furniture objects, so
far. Many of the colors are wrong and some of the shapes are pretty crude, but
I'm just starting to learn how to do it!
